Upward Trajectory
My style of play is aggressive — scrappy when I need to be, and one of the fastest off the line, especially in one-on-ones against a striker.
Since joining the club in 2021, I have gone from the very bottom to the very top of NASA TopHat Soccer, one of the most elite women's soccer clubs in the United States. This climb has taken five years of rising to the occasion, facing progressively tougher competition, and thriving under demanding coaching. As I enter the final stretch of my high school career, I am eager for the next challenge: playing college soccer at an elite program.
I wasn't always a dedicated goalkeeper. Prior to joining TopHat in 2021, I played a season at Concorde Fire as a midfielder, and this was after several years of recreational soccer. But when my family moved to a new area in Atlanta in Fall 2021, I changed clubs and ended up missing the TopHat tryouts. As a result, I was placed on the club's lowest team.
That turned out to be exactly where I needed to be. It was there that I decided to play to my strengths full-time as a goalkeeper. My dad would keep track of my saves — sometimes 15 to 20+ per game — which kept me focused entirely on what I could control.
By Spring 2022, I had been pulled up to TopHat's SCCL 2 team to replace their goalkeeper. Later that year, I made the SCCL TopHat Club team as the sole goalkeeper, and we went on to play at Nationals. In 2023, I made TopHat's DPL team as their sole goalkeeper, and for 2024, I made the 2009 TopHat GA Navy team.
In Fall 2025, while still with TopHat GA Navy, I began practicing with the 2009 GA Gold team. This past winter, I attended the Southeast GA Talent ID. In March 2026, I shared playing time with another keeper, helping Gold win the Champions Cup without conceding a single goal. Most recently, in the Summer of 2026, I joined TopHat Gold in the Playoffs. We made it to the Final 8, won the quarter- and semifinals, and captured the U17 National Title on July 12, 2026. I will continue in Fall 2026 as the only goalkeeper on the 2027 TopHat Gold team.
